Director of Transportation
Anna ISD takes pride in safely busing our students. Our trained drivers assist and protect the children while traveling to and from school or events.
Surveillance cameras are used on Anna ISD buses to ensure student and driver safety.
The Bus Driver has the same authority over the child as a classroom teacher.
The bus driver is charged with the responsibility of maintaining discipline. He shall report violations to the school principal. Parents should encourage their children to behave and sit down at all times while riding the bus.
If you have transportation questions, please call 972.924.1800. If the lines are busy, please leave a message. We will call you back. If there is a transportation related emergency after 5:00 PM, please call 911.
Transportation is available for children who live two miles or more from their assigned school. The distance a student lives from their assigned school is determined by measuring from the flagpole of the school to the curb in front of their home, using the shortest trafficable route.
